Plates are wheel-thrown in a smooth white stoneware and are approximately 5.5 inches in diameter.
After plates are bisque fired at cone 06, the bisqueware is then dipped in 2 glazes. First, Mottled Blue Cream, a rutile heavy glaze that has broken into creamy blots over a sky blue surface that resemble wispy Cirrus clouds. Then, Green which is faintly presentable at the edge of the rim when reduction fired at cone 10.
All dishware, unless stated otherwise, are microwave and dishwasher safe, however hand washing is recommended and can help ensure the longevity of handmade ceramics.
